Hey all!
It's been a while I posted. Just to add in the info to the Transformers: Dark of the Moon, I finally managed to get the form on what Shockwave really looks like (closest to what he may look like in the movies). His bi-pedal was recently shown in the comics, but now we can see his alt-mode to the fullest.
A friend was willing to share photos of Shockwave's toy for the DotM movie (these photos are not mine, I don't own them). Here you go:
DOTM: Shockwave's Alt-form and Bipedal is out.

Main OCs in 'A Twin for a Twin'
In celebration as of 10,500 hits on 'A Twin for a Twin', this page is dedicated to explaining the main OCs. Here is a full bio on the characters I've made so far for this story.
Thanks to Shina Suzuki, her artwork gave life to the characters (notably the human twins). I only did retouches, backgrounds and effects. All the sketches belong to her. =D Thank you so much!
Well, here they are (pics according to Suzu-san's interpretation) and hope you enjoy this post!

What's Another Word for 'Word A'?
Ever had a moment when you were writing something, and you were trying to think up of a word with the same meaning to a word you did not want to repeat over and over?
I know I did and still do when I write. Especially for those who have English as their 2nd or even 3rd language. At times, a piece of writing or even fanfiction can sound very dry with the exact words being repeatedly written that one might think that the writer could expand their vocab somehow.
So what's the tool to solve this problem?
A Thesaurus.
Whether it's a conventional or digital one, all writers should have a thesaurus within them. And in some cases, people prefer to have both a dictionary and thesaurus and even some prefer to have reference to how the words work in a sentence too.
Confused?
Don't worry, I have a couple of Links that can help you out expand your vocab...
Steps to Overcoming a Writer's Block =)

| Drat! The Writer's Block! DX |
Another blog post from 'The Notoriously Sneaky Journal' revised. Updated with a few more steps and suggestions.
This is the just a list I made on how Writers can overcome a Writer's Block and help them in getting their plots back in motion. A writer's block usually appears when you've got no ides left, you're frustrated, and there's pressure from readers for more new updates.
Important Blunt tips to Overcoming a Writers Block:
Step 1 : STOP and get off your computer. TAKE A BREAK!
It may sound silly, but many people don't realize that it can get tediously monotone when your just staring at the computer for too long. Take a break from the boring view of your screen. It's a good way to not force your head to think too much. Other ways you can do this is by meditating, listening to music, doolde random images on paper and even rest or sleep.
Step 2 : It's OK to skip Updates
Some people do have an update schedule for their fics. It's OK to miss them at times, as real life things step in. Just because readers are wanting you to update doesn't mean you have to do things in a hurry. Plot wise, you can develop more things if you're willing to. You're the author, and if your readers are loyal and you've got a good plot, they will read it no matter how long you take to make a new update.
Having problems in making an Original Character?
![]() |
| Original and likable. ;) |
As many people like about fanfiction, it's an awesome oppertunity to create their own character that would eventually interact with their favorite fandom.
No doubt I've done this before and I'm pretty sure that all fans would wish to (unless they wish to leave it as a non-OC fic).
The main canon Bot characters for 'A Twin for a Twin'?
As a fan to the old continuity (G1 series), during the Revenge of the Fallen I was thrilled to have one of my favorite bots in it: Sideswipe. What I wasn't prepared though, is that in the Movie version of ROTF was the fact they had a different set of twins.
So what happened to his real twin Sunstreaker?
As apparently, no one knows.
Hence the reason why my main character in my fic ended up being Sunstreaker.
While there have been numerous fics about him and Sides tagging along and even some cases where he's there too, many of them have female OCs that are their 'companion'. No offence to those who like OC slash but I'm not really into the mech love human thing. It's fun, but after reading God knows how many fics like it, I got REALLY bored. And since actions speak louder than words, POOF! I avoided about going all angry and go flaming other authors or made a fanfic to counter the rest hurting other authors (a.k.a. the troll fic)... and made my own fic that I had with my own ideas.
Hitting the 10,000 hits Mark ;D
It's AWESOME! (Hint: Look at the smiley in the fic!)
Having an OC fic is tedious at times because of those who don't like OCs in general (yes I understand that many OCs do end up turning into Mary Sues and Marty Stus), and that some are very angsty so it gets rather laggy (especially when the genre is romance, but that's no reson for those in the Action/Adventure genre).
Inspired from many 'Slick' Films
A Twin for a Twin has been my major fic project for over a year now.
Seeing the many repeated stories over and over again, it kind of struck me I had to try the not so obvious. So what did I go with? A story that's an Adventure, thriller, and crime theme. Not the easiest to make and I wanted it sound more real life-like. I mean, some sort of fiction just have to have some real-life logic right?
Now, the main stuff. What films inspired me to write this fic?
A Crazy Amount of Words for One Chapter ^_^
Hey all!
Just a brief update for today for Chapter 13 for my fic: A Twin for Twin
Originally it was supposed to be one chapter full, but after having a talk over it with a few people (including my sister) hell, I just had to cut it in half. Why because aesthetically, it would take super long to read it... and not too mention the scroll bar would be tiny.
But hey, it was a hacker war scene (rarely done in fanfiction) - and I had to try and pace myself to build up the suspense gradually so it didn't look like an utter mess.
I'd like to thank my betas Khalthar for accepting god knows how many words and look over it thoroughly and also LunaeShark even though she takes longer he edits make my story flow better. :) Of course my most thanks to also the readers who kept reading from the beginning and new ones who are popping up and reading my fic. You guys are so amazing!
Also a special thanks to all those at the Infantrum Forum (especially for Chyka :D ).
Uh - What?
Oh yeah... the words. Right.
So what I got for part one was about 14.000 words and 18.000 for the second part so that's a roughly about...
The Start! =D
Welcome to my blog of creativity.
Mostly the stuff posted here is just about my fanfic on ffnet for fun. Whether it's a lucky idea that probably came to my mind in an instant or other things I might want to experiment with. Most of the stuff here's about my fanfic 'A Twin for a Twin.'
Although on some occasions I'll be discussing other things that could be random. Some of this would relate to foruming, while others on occasion to getting your research done on a fanfic.
That's for now.
