Hey All!
I'm a fan of American comics. The most thing I like about them is when they usually make or take a movie and make it into a comic adaptation. Many adaptations you can find are mostly direct adaptation to the movie, the prequel (what happens before/back story) and as well as the sequel or the aftermath.
This time folks, I give you the Transformers 2011 movie: Dark of the Moon.

The most awaited movie for the fans this year, I got to say when I read the two (yes there are two comic lines) comics seeing from different perspectives it left me with more questions than answers from the previous TF movies. The two lines are 'Foundation' and 'Rising Storm'.
For the most part I was wondering how all of it would affect the fanfics posted later on. But, hey, not all Trans movie fans do pick up the comics so no worries there.

I don't want to be a spoiler person, so I'll just say a few things that are going on for the next movie according to the comics in a simple list. There are parts that are whited out (bad spoilers) but if you wish to see them then just block the text:
- Canon wise the Acree triplets are alive! Yes, for those who like the femmes you may jump up and down. Only from the comics I read I think the reason they/she may not be in the movies because she's heavily injured and it's taking a lot out of her (taking toll on all three from sharing a spark). Drat Dx
- The theme is as Bay said: "Evil Humans". A classic theme in the TF comics since God knows when. Another theme is 'weapons dealing'.
- Speaking of evil humans, there's Galloway in the comics. Thankfully he does not make a comeback in the movies. Evil? Well, not really... because the weird thing is he's turned over a new leaf and helping the Autobots. Sorry Galloway haters you will be disappointed.
- It does explain about how Cybertron was before the war of Autobots and Decepticons. It left me wondering how odd the past was. There was another civil war before that? 0_o Okay... time out!
- 'Foundation' is a focus of the past on how Megatron sees Optimus. Wheeljack is movie canon and seen there. Not certain he does make it to the movie though.
- The reason why Sentinel Prime will make an appearence in the 3rd movie. Yes, we might think he was offlined or something... but that wasn't the case. The verdict? -__-;; => Took a trip to outer space. What reason is currently unknown. The mech you guys see in the movie trailer of the mech on the moon? It's Sentinel Prime.
- There's a lot of bots who are on Earth, but most of them keep on dying/offlining for some deluded reason. I won't post any designations here, too many that die before the movie. I understand Uncle Bay, they needed to cut the CGI budget. *nods*
- We've yet seen the new bots who will take their roles in the DotM movie.
Well this covers up only in the first issues for the film prequel, so there may be changes in the future. Note that all prequels are usually 4 comics per set, so we got another 6 more issues to see what might be going on. So, I'm not going to conclude anything at this point.
