In celebration as of 10,500 hits on 'A Twin for a Twin', this page is dedicated to explaining the main OCs. Here is a full bio on the characters I've made so far for this story.
Thanks to Shina Suzuki, her artwork gave life to the characters (notably the human twins). I only did retouches, backgrounds and effects. All the sketches belong to her. =D Thank you so much!

Skyler Knight
Full Name: Skyler Ethan Knight (Con family: Skyler Ethan Caldwell)
Nickname: Skyler, sometimes shorten to 'Sky'
Con Alias: Snake/ Snake theta
Race: Human
Age: 21
Hair: dark brown, spiky short-cut hair
Eye Color: cobalt blue
Physical Description: tall, lean, a bit thin, doesn't stand out in a crowd.

Character Description:
Traits: Rational and logic driven, stubborn, proud, arrogant (when he thinks it's the right time), can be egocentric when he deems to be, very perceptive and sometimes a little paranoid (thanks to his Uncle).
Back story:
A young man who is a con man and hides his 'side job' as a auto body technician for cars because of his family connections. He's a proud thief as well as a hacker and doesn't like to back down on a job that he thinks is unfinished. Thinks that when a person gets their revenge, there's just no sympathy involved when it comes to a target or a mark.
Initially on a mission to find Steve (his twin brother) who has been missing for a month, until he gets a call from a police officer and friend that they needed help to do a paint job on a mysterious wrecked car. What Skyler doesn't expect that the car is a Cybertronian mech, Sunstreaker.
He later gets kidnapped by Sunstreaker, who thinks that he was the best human to kidnap (due to the fact the mech sees him conning a loan shark and is good at paint jobs). The two begin with a rocky start being both stubborn and egoistic. Once they find out that their twins lives are at stake, the two set out to Kansas City to search for Steve and perhaps after to search for Sideswipe.
Skills: hacking, pickpocketing, can handle most security locks, a broad knowledge on weaponry , can use fire arms well [also has sniper training], Aikido user and other few martial arts to the lesser extent, and also has a talent in painting as a pastime.

Steve Knight
- Very perceptive when it comes to reading people in general, thanks to the training with his con artist uncles by practicing with numerous games of poker. He can spot whether a person is lying, and as well figure out how to get info from another person without force.
- Being an info junkie (a person who knows mostly everything) he has a gift for spotting out details people would usually miss in information hunting and also is good at blackmailing.
- Highly values the privacy of others and loyalty. As long as the other person keeps to their part of the bargain, Skyler doesn't push what may not be his business but at the same time keeps his own word.
Weaknesses:
- Being the honest con man, Skyler's weakness is those who are genuinely truthful. One of which, he can get embarrassed easily by true compliments. Another, he doesn't hesitate to help those who needs help (after excessive researching on that said person).
- His twin brother. Seeing as Steve is his last and remaining direct family+younger brother, Skyler at times can't think properly when it comes to Steve's well being; especially when Steve's in danger. He hates the feeling of being left out in helping Steve when his brother needs him the most.
- Making quick snap decisions. Due to his way of thinking for long cons, he tends to hesitate in making quick decisions as he goes by the way of whatever it takes to make the 'right' decision. Also thinks that everything should be figured out.
- Holds grudges. Being and living in a con family, there are some things he has a hard time in letting go.
Steve Knight

Autobot Partner: Sideswipe
Character Description:
Traits: Unlike his twin brother, he's more subtle and down to Earth. Yet because of this, he's more emotional and prefers to whine about something before he does agree to take care of the problem.
Back story:
Steve's gone missing but not without a good reason. Originally he was helping out a friend who is a part of his con family on a convention that was doing hacker tests. What he didn't expect was to get caught in a crime syndicate kidnapping.
Things get uglier as the crime syndicate is searching for the hackers responsible for stopping the breach on US Intel, which are both him and his twin, Skyler. However, things just turn more confusing as Laserbeak (Soundwave's minion) comes to collect him. Thanks to Sideswipe's interruption, he was saved from getting caught with the Decepticons.
He now stays at the Nevada US NEST base due to the fact he's targeted by the Decepticons. Takes interest on meeting his savior and befriends Sideswipe seeing they have many things in common.
Skills: hacking, pickpocketing, advanced IT programming, knows nearly every sort of weakness to locks and safes (digital+analog), a board knowledge base on communication devices. Uses Judo mostly as his martial art for self-defense, knows other martial art to a lesser extent but avoids using them if he can (pacifist). Has fire arms training (he was Skyler's spotter in sniper training) but doesn't like using guns.
Strengths:
- A good opportunist. His knack for seeing something and acting at a spontaneous moment is his strong point and prefers thinking short term than his twin who is the opposite.
- He's better than his twin when it comes to connecting with people. Tends to read the emotional side of people than basing it on rational thinking.
- Special Skill: Has eidetic memory or photographic memory since he was young. And because of it, it makes it easier for him to remember things. It simply only takes a glimpse. In some cases he doesn't intend to but in the end remembers anyway. This skill is compatible to his twin's perceptive intuitive.
Weaknesses:
- His photographic memory serves as a double edged sword. Just as he can quickly remember, it makes it difficult for Steve to forget something. Since he can re-call something so vividly, it takes time for him to get to adjusted to things his mind can't handle immediately (e.g. meeting the Autobots for the first time, he had to avoid most of them for a few days), if not the memory overwhelms him which causes him to have headaches.
- He's not very good at manipulating others like Skyler. His emotions get the best of him at times he prefers that his twin handles it.
- Holds grudges but not in the extreme degree as Skyler.
- Steve was never a good at deciding for long term plans, tends to hesitate a lot but can overcome it if there's another person to encourage him.

Age: 'Sparkling'/toddler (3 earth years old)
Alt-Form: a Shuffle Royal automatic card shuffler.
Character Description:
Traits: A flippant and enthusiastic small sparkling. Very shy when he first meets new people due to the fact he rarely interacts with others. Has an obsession for Cards and card games alike (not surprising as his alt-form is a card shuffler). Sees Micheal Jackson as an idol. Cares deeply for his caretakers that he sees them as his parent figures.
Back story:
A baby Cybertronian/sparkling that claims he was born and found by White Eagle on the day of the Mission City incident (TF 2007 Mission City battle). He was found out by Skyler in Topeka when there were leads of a Cybertronian letter in a con family poker tournament.
Originally White Eagle found leads to get him back to his kind (NEST) but stopped short due to his ties with he con families he was associated with. During the time he spent under White Eagle's care, the sparkling did not have a real name (being called 'little one' instead). It was only when Skyler had come with Sunstreaker he earned his name from his character and his lucky streak tendencies in playing casino games.
He now travels with both Skyler and Sunstreaker on their journey to reunite with the other Cybertronians on Earth so he would be in the rightful care of his own kind.
Skills:
- Able to turn oil or any other earth fuels into energon. The reason why is currently unknown.
Strengths:
- Very inquisitive about new things and thus he picks up information very quickly. Even for a sparkling, Flipluck's mental age is difficult for his caretakers to figure out.
- Doesn't hesitate to use the 'guilt trip' on his caretakers (especially the 'sparkly glowing optics tactic' [human version would be the 'puppy-eyes'] on Sunstreaker) to get what he wants.
Weaknesses:
- Easily distracted. If he finds something interesting, doesn't care about his surroundings and is focused on it.
